Twin Falls Cottages is conveniently located within walking distance of Downtown Twin Falls in the Historic District. This location provides a variety of restaurants to choose from. Leisurely stroll our small shops, visit our delicious local Cloverleaf Creamery (which is in our opinion, the freshest and BEST ice cream you’ll ever taste) or see a live show at the historic Orpheum Theater.
Neighborhood
The neighborhood which you would be staying in is known on The National Register of Historic Places as, “Twin Falls Original Townsite Residential Historic District.” Take a walk from Twin Falls Cottages to Downtown Twin Falls restaurants, shops & seasonal festivities.
Twin Falls Cottages consist of 3 separate cottages on one property. The frontage of the property is along a simple, 2-lane city street. The back side of the property is accessed by the original gravel alley, just like it was during the olden days.
This part of town has been & is still going through some changes. Think urban pioneer. Twin Falls invested millions into the Downtown Renovation project. Now, Downtown is the happening place to be! With restaurants, breweries, a cooking store, ice cream shop, cheese shop, an old fashioned theater we now love walking to Downtown Twin Falls.
The neighborhood itself consists of older homes, multi-family dwellings, a school & businesses. It’s about a 7 minute walk or 0.3 miles from Twin Falls Cottages to Downtown Twin Falls shops, restaurants & entertainment.
Twin Falls Cottages is one of the original contributing properties to the establishment of the original Main Avenue of our little city. Across the street is a small high school. Behind our Twin Falls Cottages property is a designated gravel alley with 2 designated on-property parking spaces for Cottage A and Cottage B. Parking for Cottage A is convenient street parking directly in front of the property.
The quaint, gated Mary Alice Park is just 450 feet away (open seasonally). It was built by a local artist who is heavily involved in the art culture within the community. It is usually open during the summertime. It really is adorable & unique!
Holiday festivities & seasonal events all happen right here in Downtown. Twin Falls! Summer dancing in the streets to live bands, parades, farmer’s markets, Christmas tree lighting, Oktoberfest, etc. Parade staging often begins right here in front of Twin Falls Cottages!

Much of the city restaurants, shops, grocery stores, parks, medical centers and local Costco are within a 3-4 mile drive. City Park (1/2 mile). Centennial Waterfront Park, Zipline and Boat Launch (4 1/2 miles). Less than a mile to Baxter Dog Park. The closest restaurant is Norm’s Cafe a small informal locals’ hangout at 0.2 miles away. Several local golf courses are in the general area.
